DefenseTac is committed to providing the state required training to legally carry in Maryland. Through our training sessions you will gain the knowledge, skills and mindset necessary to own, carry and operate firearm in a safe, law abiding and responsible manner.

CONCEAL CARRY
$275 / For the Maryland required 16HR COURSE
Schedule a class to obtain a CCW permit and exercise your 2A rights. Using USCCA curriculum and real-world knowledge provided by a USCCA certified instructor, this 16-hour course will provide the necessary information for you to qualify to legally carry a handgun in the state of Maryland. There will be 14hrs of class time and a 2hr live fire range qualification. You will be required to bring your own handgun, at least 100 rounds of ammunition, protective eyewear and ear protection.
NEED TO RENEW?
$125 for the Maryland required 8HR course
Your Maryland CCW must be renewed after two years once first obtained and every three years thereafter. You’ll need to complete an 8-hour firearm training course and submit the renewal application. You must begin the renewal application at least 90 days before expiration date.

It is imperative that you become proficient with your firearms. Improving your technique in draw and grip with a handgun is crucial. Cleaning and maintenance of you firearm is crucial. Having a home defense plan is crucial. The use of a rifle or shotgun widens your options when it comes to defense in the home. DefenseTac can help with your grip, aim, stance, and movement by providing tips and drills to practice at the range and to use while dry firing at home.
